24 Hours of Le Mans: What a great Performance by SWS Performance !

For the 29th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 35 Europeans teams were gathered on fantastic International Track of Le Mans for a legendary race. 

After winning the SODI WORLD FINALS 2014 in the Endurance Cup category, the Team ASK Performance won a free ticket to take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. A participation is such a race was a very Premiere for the 2014 SWS World Champion Team. 3 members of ASK - Performance and a quality guest: Anthoine HUBERT, composed the Team N°57, NANTES - SWS Performance by Technikart. 

The 4 drivers : Fred USUREAU, Anthoine HUBERT, Yohann VAUGARNI, Eddy BEAUJARD

and the SWS Staff Assistance. 

All means were implemented by the TECHNIKART company to ease drivers in the discovery of such a new world. In addition to a complet technical support (2 SODIKART Chassis, several engines and many mechanics), an osteopath structure and catering service were provided all race long for the Team N°57. 

The race objective was very simple for SWS Performance by Technikart. Finish the race as a priority and then hit the category Top 15. Remember that the SWS team was enrolled in the most competitive category, the GP2 (Rotax-max engine) and not in the GP1 category (KF engine type). 

After good free practices and despite a "slow" qualification (22th on the grid), the morale of the team was still excellent. Drivers were ready to fight on track during 24 hours. It is during the race that the Leisure SWS drivers shown their real potential. Lead by Anthoine HUBERT, the 3 drivers were all performing very well on track and were even sometimes faster than other Top Teams! What a good and encouraging surprise! 

After an almost-perfect race, without mechanical malfunction, the Team N°57 crossed the line in the 10th position over 35 teams on the overall ranking. A great performance congratulated by all other teams ! The Top 15 objective within the category is fully achieved with a 8th position in the GP2 category ! 

Congratulations to the Team N°57 which highlighted during 24 hours all the quality of Leisure drivers from the SODI WORLD SERIES. A real Thank to Technikart and more particularly to Luc LEVILLAIN and Thierry NOEL.
