Novelty this year in Sprint category with the adoption of Sodi karts GTMax equipped with Rotax engine. For many drivers it will be their first opportunity to drive a 2 strokes kart. Kevin Caprasse (BEL) and Sebastien Fournet (FRA), 2012 and 2013 winners of the category were determined to defend their places facing all these new competitors.

But this year, the faster driver is the German Marcel PROKSCHA of the circuit XXL of Berlin who finished second in the first super final before handily take the following two . Well into the last race , he will fight with the 2013 winner, Kevin Caprasse, with which they will eventually hang well and let fly their luck in the last race of the weekend ... Despite its eleventh place in this final event , the German driver won the Sodi World Final 2014 in Sprint category with nearly 30 points ahead of the second, the Belgian Simon Delvenne. Piers PRIOR (UK) is on the third step of the overall podium after a thrilling final race.

In Junior category ( - 15yrs ), 20 pilots from 8 different countries competed on the new Sodi karts LR5 and have lived , from the earliest age, to a truly international competition in the mythical world of motorsport that is Le Mans.

2014 SODI WORLD SERIES JUNIOR CHAMPION

There is no doubt that event will remain memorable for them. One facet of the spirit of the SWS is best expressed in this category ; the gateway between leisure and competition. Indeed, the Russian Michael BELOV wins, along with the 2014 SWS Junior world champion title, a full season at the Kart Racing Academy will allow him, hopefully, to climb one by one steps to reach the highest level of motorsport. Congratulations to Bastien FLAHAUT (FRA) and Erwann VARLET (FRA) who finished 2nd and 3rd in this category. Bulgarian Georgi Vankov and French Remy Goville are respectively 4th and 5th overall.

Final endurance was, like every year, an exceptional race with 40 teams Sodi RT8 equipped with 390cc engine. Endurance race rarely been so tight. A few laps from the finish no one could predict who would win this 12h race. With only 3 seconds ahead, the team ASK Performance 360 ( FRA) crossed the finish line ahead of CG Racing pro " Dubai Autodrome" (which counted among its pilots the world champion David Terrien - who has done a fantastic comeback in the final laps). 50 seconds later, CER Karting (FRA) closed the podium.

?The team Batelco of Bahrain , winner in 2013 , finished 4th in the 500 miles of Le Mans before the Swiss Pro Team (4th in 2013) . Congratulations to all the drivers for their fair play and the exceptional level of control they offered . This is certainly the most challenging both physically and nervously category for drivers and the explosion of joy of the team drivers of ASK performance 360, 37th in qualifying, will remain a strong image of this 5th edition of the Sodi World Finals.
